Zedrick was born and raised in the Philippines, in the town of Biñan, Laguna. His love for the arts started at a young age, immersing himself in drawing, writing, and singing. Acting was not in the picture. Yet. With his family, Zedrick moved to Los Angeles at age 15, and moved again to Vancouver prior to his senior year. Always the new kid, he decided to audition for a school play to make friends. He took a stab at acting and landed his first role at age 17. Between the months of September and October 2005, Zedrick caught the acting bug. He has been sick ever since. Zedrick is now back in Southern California and is pursuing acting full-time. He has had acclaimed performances as the lead in productions of Dark of the Moon, Melville Boys, Closer, and Beyond Therapy. No less acclaimed are his supporting roles in productions of Our Town, Rashomon, Enter Laughing and Bat-Boy: The Musical. He was an active performer in the Orange County theater scene doing shows in Golden West College and non-equity theaters including the Hunger Artists Theater, the Rude Guerrilla Theater, and South Coast Repertory. He is studying acting and has trained at Capilano University and the William Davis Center in Vancouver; Golden West College, Riverside City College, and South Coast Repertory in Southern California. In February 2010, he competed in the Irene Ryan national acting competition of the Kennedy Center's American College Theater Festival. Zedrick performed John Patrick Shanley's The Red Coat which earned him rave reviews from critics, competitors, and the audience. The performance won him a spot in the semi-finals, 32 actors chosen from 400 who competed. His film work so far encompasses student films and independent films. His most recent work includes a role in the feature film Super Shark directed by Fred Olen Ray. And in January 2011, he filmed his first feature film, 200 MPH, playing the prominent supporting role of Phong. 200 MPH is a street-racing action film directed by Cole McKay, out on DVD and Blu-Ray in 2011.
